Ballymoss Stud is a friendly family run business set in rolling countryside at Boardmills, Lisburn in County Down, Northern Ireland.  Having many years experience in the Equestrian sector, Mavis, Gary and Patricia Stewart strive to meet the expectations and needs of clients should that be by way of training, competition livery, horses for sale, horseboxes for sale or short term holiday livery.  You can be assured that your equine will be treated professionally and sympathetically during its time with us. Mavis has been involved in the Irish Sport horse industry from an early age and is frequently involved in accredited coaching and training of both horse and rider.  She continues to compete on the affiliated showjumping circuit (Showjumping Ireland, SJI and British Show Jumping Association, BSJA) producing young horses for competition and sale.  A qualified EFI (Equestrian Federation of Ireland) coach with a good rapport with students and an easy teaching style.

 

Patricia is an effective and competent young rider.  She actively competes throughout the Irish circuit and obtains excellent results.  An experienced and effective, yet compassionate young rider who commits to her horses and creates a good relationship and bond. Horses currently in competition include Best Touch (ISH) by the Irish Olympic Stallion Touchdown; Alide Van de Boswinning, a Belgian Warmblood mare by the renowned Skippy II,  and the young promising grey stallion Garagange, by Conquest Van de Helle (Gr Sire Corrado) that was bought as a 3 year old from the established Belgian Van de Helle Stud.  Competeing regularly on the SJI circuit, including at the RUAS Showgrounds, Balmoral, Cavan Equestrian Centre, Portmore Equestrian Centre, Barnadown Equestrian Centre and at Boswell Patricia will give your horses the profile and experience you rightly expect and require.  

 

Patricia has vacancies for horses for competition livery or schooling at competitive rates.
